Sriram Physio Care & Pain Relief Centre West Mambalam, Chennai
My search for a relief to my back ache led me to Sriram Physio, though i was informed by my doctor a week before the meet to check with the physio i was hesitant to go there as i didn't have any relief to my back ache even after visiting a few physio in the run-up till that visit.
It was a new moon day and i visited 'Vaidya Veera Raghava Perumal' temple in the morning. I did few procedures in the temple as prescribed. In the evening i thought i should visit the physio clinic and see whether my luck could provide any relief, as it was almost 3 months since the invigorating pain started.
I stepped into the clinic to find a small but well maintained clinic and a young man walked upto me and said that he would be with me in a couple of minutes. A few minutes past and he came back, enquired about my problem and did a thorough check-up using a few tools that doctors only know about. Finally i felt that someone really knows what he is doing.
He showed a lot of patience and maturity to deal with his patients, he suggested a couple of therapy and few exercises to start with. i felt a lot of relief on the same day, almost 50% of my pain vanished and it was a sweet surprise. I would highly recommend Sriram Physio to anyone who wish to have a healing and pleasant experience.

MRI for Claustrophobic people in Chennai
Unless you are claustrophobic, my words might not make sense to you.
I m big time claustrophobic, recently i have been ailing with some cervical (neck and spine) issue almost for a couple of months now. I tried all allopathy, ayurvedic and Kerala treatment, i m not completely cure yet.
I started with Ayurvedic, but the doctor said it is a slow process and may take time to heal. Then i shifted to allopathy, was under doctors treatment for a month, tried few medicines and procedures, but none of them worked. Finally, my doctor asked me to take an MRI of Cervical spine. I called up a famous scan centre, they had an administrative office in Ashok Nagar and scanning centre in royapettah.
The Senior manager said that there is some 50% off on MRI and the total cost for a Cervical spine MRI is 5300. I went to Ashok Nagar paid the money. They gave a slip to be produced at Royapettah centre to perform the scan. i finished my other work and reached Royapettah centre around 11 AM, i was feeling gung ho till i reached the centre, as everything on that day have been progressing smoothly.
I had to wait for an hour for my turn, they gave me a dress for MRI scan. i was ready and entered the MRI scanning room. i laid down on the moving bed and was slowly pushed into the small tunnel, something got better off me and i immediately raised an hand for help. i was scared to death, was feeling suffocated as soon as i entered the rim of the tunnel.
The technicians passified me, but i came out. I felt calling my friend would help me come out of that eerie feeling, i waited for an couple of hours and then he showed up. mustered some courage and went inside the room again. Even that attempt failed as i was not able to cope up with the claustrophobic problem i had. Made another 2 attempt and failed miserably. finally decided to do do it with the help of anesthetize. But even that was defeated as my feeling of claustrophobia completely took over me.
After a couple of weeks of horror, i finally found a solution. Glen Eagles Global Hospital has the latest MRI scan machine, which is known as wide bored MRI machine, this machine has been developed especially for claustrophobic people. Thought this post would help many claustrophobic people like me, when they are asked to do an MRI.

Vodafone beats Airtel
How would you differentiate the best service provider from other normal/ordinary service provider? The answer is very simple, by the service they provide.
I lost both my airtel and vodafone sim card and i went to the respective kiosks to request for a new sim card.
First, I went to the Vodafone kiosk and i was assisted by a representative in getting my token number. When my turn came, i went to the help desk and explained my requirement. They requested me to fill a form and for my identity proof (usually they ask for a photocopy, as the kiosk had the photocopier machine, i didn't have to carry one) to take a photocopy of it. Then they asked me to get an invoice for 15 rs. (sim replacement charges) 2 steps from the helpdesk they had the cash counter. I went to pay the charges, the executive at the counter asked me for the details and she said i don't have to pay it right away and it will be added to my subsequent bill (this is what i call customer service). They provided me with a new sim and i had difficulty in inserting it in the phone, Vodafone personnels helped me in removing the older sim which was stuck in the phone and inserted the new sim to the phone (this is a value add).
Now lets compare the service of Vodafone to Airtel (i hold bharti stocks in the market) I went to their kiosk and they had someone at the token counter and they asked me for the purpose of my visit and my airtel number. They keyed in the necessary information and the IVR threw out a number (it was eco-friendly) I remembered my number and waited for my turn. When my turn came, i went to the appropriate helpdesk and told them my requirement. She asked me to fill a form and for a photocopy of my identity proof. When i said, i didn't carry my ID proof, she suggested that i could go to a shop in the same complex to get a copy of it (I was surprised, immediately reflected on the service at Vodafone) I came back with a copy. Then the executive asked me to pay 25 rs. at the counter, i didn't carry enough money in hand, so i gave her my credit card. She said they won't be able to process the card and insisted on cash. I told them they can include the charges in my subsequent bill (again Vodafone came to my mind) She said it won't be possible and i need to pay the money then and there to process my request, i was left with no choice but to pay them in cash. I was able to understand that Vodafone had their own center and Bharti had outsourced their services. Whatever be the case, Vodafone's service was so refreshing and Airtel's was so forgettable.

Spark offer: Don't Subscribe
The latest offer for Chevrolet Spark that is being flashed in the media every now and then is nothing but a marketing gimmick. The ex-showroom price of Spark 1.0 LS is highest in Chennai 3.2 lakhs followed by Mumbai 3.16 lakhs, this is prior to the offer.
The ex-showroom price during the promotion offer for Spark 1.0 LS is 3.0 Lakhs, This offer has been made to push the car sales in India but this does not come without any hidden cost. This promotional price does not include the 3 years free maintenance offer by Chevrolet and the cost of it is 12,000 rs. If you add this cost, the price will come to 3.12 lakhs ex-showroom in chennai.
Chevrolet doesn't have good service network in the country, which is a main drawback. If you are planning to hop on a long drive, you need to be extra careful with regards to the condition of the car. Most people buy Maruti not only because of its performance but also because of the service network the company boast of. Chevrolet might plan to sunset Spark in the near future and it would be very difficult then for the owners of the car to get proper maintenance work done for the car.
You can look at other cars in the same segment like the new Alto K10 or you can go for i10 IRDE version which is a shade costlier than the Spark and with Hyundai's service network and track record is a far better option than Chevy.

Yudham Sei
Anjathey, Yudham Sei. The latest Myskin flick looks like a 2nd part of his commercially successful movie Anjathey.
Though the theme is similar, the treatment is different. The unravelling of the mystery is fascinating enough to watch the movie once. I m writing this post right after watching a night show of the movie. The message is strong, though he gives away the clues now and then, he binds the spectator well with the plot. The cast is well chosen. Cheran is a good choice.
The music is just like you get from any ordinary suspense drama. The director could have avoided showing ventral side of a man's body, at the least the censor board could have cut those shots or issued an "A" certificate to the movie. The director's centimental yellow-saree-clad-women-song could have been avoided as well, if he strongly believes in his script. Overall, a good movie in myskin style.

The cheapest Touch in town

The cheap & best touch phone that you can get in India market today is Samsung 3300 champ with loads of application that makes it suitable for consumer across all ages. I been using the phone for the past 3 months without any hitch and i find it reasonably recommendable.
Its a touch phone that is compact comes with/without camera(you can always discount the camera part as it is just a VGA camera), a universal earphone, bluetooth, stylus, 1 GB memory card expandable upto 8 GB, WAP, plays 3GP&MP4 videos, MP3& many more audio formats, radio, a compact dictionary and many more useful applications.
All this comes at a price of 3600, thats without the camera and the camera cost a shade above that, the price may differ from state to state. Through this model samsung penetrated into the below 4k range with no competition anywhere close to it. Hope the competitors are listening. If you know any mobile sub 4k range, do leave a comment about it.

Raincoat for motorcycle riders

The basic idea behind creating this blog is to tell people in this country more particularly the bourgeoisie about quality products that is economical and useful.
This first post i would like to discuss about an item that is quintessential for the rainy season, Raincoat. A normal raincoat will do if you venture outside or commute to places on bus or by walk or any other means. But people riding two wheelers/motorcycle need a special raincoat with ordinary raincoat the chances of getting drenched is high. It can be very disgusting if you are going to work/shop/hang out inside an air conditioned premises.
The best solution for such a situation is using "DUCKBACK". From my personal experience and from experiences of other users i have found that even in heavy rain your dresses won't even get wet, which will leave you relaxed at work/shop/anywhere. So next time when u venture in the rain. don't forget your duckback.
